Serendipity

This beautiful couple was planning on taking engagement photos lakeside in the mountains. Imagine the distress all three of us felt when we were stopped on the way to said lake by a gentleman from the local sheriff's department and asked to turn around--some sort of emergency had the entire area cordoned off. Fortunately, they trusted me when I proposed driving around in the canyon until we found a different spot. They kept trusting me hiking down an embankment to a random looking patch of trees on the side of the road, they trusted me when the snow was up to our knees (just for a minute!) and that trust totally paid off. Instead of shooting at a very popular and well recognized spot for our area, these two now have pictures in a truly unique location--neither I nor they will probably ever be able to find it ever again. So, to these two lovely humans, thanks for trusting me! It all worked out much better than expected!
